A saúde mental no ambiente de trabalho no Brasil tem se tornado uma preocupação crescente, especialmente após o aumento significativo de afastamentos por transtornos mentais. Em 2024, foram registradas 472 mil licenças concedidas por esse motivo, representando um aumento de aproximadamente 67% em relação ao ano anterior.
Em resposta a essa crise, a partir de 26 de maio de 2025, as empresas brasileiras serão obrigadas a identificar riscos psicossociais e implementar medidas para gerenciar a saúde mental dos profissionais. Essa exigência decorre da atualização da Norma Regulamentadora nº 1 (NR-1) pelo Ministério do Trabalho e Emprego, que aborda a saúde e a segurança no trabalho. A nova norma exige que as empresas incluam a avaliação e o gerenciamento dos riscos psicossociais no Programa de Gerenciamento de Riscos (PGR).
A especialista em saúde mental no trabalho, Ana Carolina Peuker, membro do comitê consultivo no Movimento Mente Em Foco do Pacto Global da ONU, destaca que “a saúde mental deixará de ser tratada como algo subjetivo e passará a ser uma responsabilidade formal das empresas”.
Além disso, estudos revelam que o Brasil ocupa a quarta posição na América Latina em relação ao percentual de profissionais que se sentem tristes ou com raiva diariamente. Cerca de 25% dos profissionais brasileiros relatam sentimentos de tristeza, enquanto 18% afirmam sentir raiva. O país também é o sétimo mais estressado da região, com 46% dos profissionais experimentando estresse diário.
Diante desse cenário, é essencial que as empresas adotem medidas proativas para promover o bem-estar psicológico de seus colaboradores, garantindo ambientes de trabalho saudáveis e prevenindo situações que possam levar ao adoecimento mental.
